Purpose

To stop bullying (or violence) in schools,
community, and the world.


To create awareness of bulling in the internet.

To increase an awareness of
bullying in society and to encourage
people to take action against it.


To Increase awareness and knowledge of problems relating to bullying.

Script Idea 1

The PSA will show that there is a connection between children bullying as children and nations bullying other nations.
1. Convey that there is war in our world (Film of war scenes)
2. And there are people concerned about it and asking for peace (Film of Ghandi, Martin Luther King, John Lennon, Obama)
3. But the war between nations is really a war between man and man (Someone films- men shouting/arguing during road rage?)
4. That starts when we are young (Someone films-teens fighting)
5. Where as teachers we can make an impact that makes a difference (Someone films a child bullying other child)
6.Then voice says. "STOP!" Frame freezes. Ending message, like "Peace starts in the classroom."

You think your child is safe because he is at home- sweet scene (could be a flash animation)
But there are bullies coming home to hold threats on him (child panics in front of the computer)
Not all bullies are out of your house. (house map with bullies coming in)

Compile some scenes from conflicts
and then moments of peace ( inspired
by "Man in the Mirror" video clip by
Michael Jackson)

Perhaps show a news clip about how
North Korea tried to launch their
nuclear testing, then show
scenes of how people around
the world reacted negatively
toward them.

Film a school scene (in the classroom/hallway)
of a student being bullied by a group of students.
Then on the same scene, film some
"heros" standing up for those bullied
victims. Then the narrator says,
" Stop! No one deserves to be bullied"

In the end, film a sign
"DECLARATION OF PEACE"
posted on the classroom door



Show conflicts between children - (differenct ways of bullying)

PSA showing that bullying as children leads to bullying as adults.
1. Show a child is taking lunch money from another child (Someone can film that)
Voiceover: "Deal with it now..."
2. Then show a him as an adult mugger taking a bag from an old lady (Someone can film that)
Voiceover: "...or deal with it later"
3. Ending message, like "Stop Bullying Now."
Or Maybe we can end it by reversing the film and show that instead of the child getting away with taking the money, a teacher/ or student intervenes a talking to him about it.
Later in life, you see him as an adult helping the old lady cross the street.
Ending Message, something like, " Only you can stop the Bullying."

(the kids from Columbine H.S, the shooting
at Virgia Tech, how bullying contribute factor
for teens comtemplating suicide--show incidents which happened not long ago)

The narrator says, " Stop! No one
deserves to be bullied."

In the end, film a sign "DECLARATION OF PEACE" posted on the classroom door
